 ASSOCIATION OF LATVIAN PROFESSIONAL GUIDES  (LPGA), MEMBER OF EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF TOURIST   GUIDE ASSOCIATIONS (FEG)


 Association of Latvian Professional Guides (LPGA) was founded in 2002.

From 2002 the Association is a member of European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (FEG).

LPGA coordinates activities of professional tourist guides, stands up for their interests and represents them in Latvia and abroad.

The main tasks of LPGA are:
- Training and improving professional skills of Latvian tourist guides;
- Creating special purpose programs;
- Participating in different projects and investing in attraction activities;
- To enable the development and growth of intellectual potential of professional tourist guides and to help to improve their professional skills;
- To offer its members information about current events in Latvian and EU legislation;
- To accept tourist guide service orders and ensure their accomplishment by attracting professional tourist guides as members of LPGA.
